Feeling HUM DRUM and can't seem to shake the winter blahs?

Try this...

Change the scents that surround you.The brain reacts to certain fragrances, but it also seems moods themselves can be influenced by scents. In one study, people who were exposed to natural plant odors such as herbs and pine were calmer, more alert, and in better moods than those in an odor-free environment . And research suggests scents such as orange, lavender, coffee, or peppermint can give sniffers a longer attention span when presented with information. The smell of fresh linen and cotton might even make people more generous, and people in clean-smelling environments could be more likely to engage in charitable behavior.

Expectations about an odor can also influence the mood changes scents bring on, but the verdict is in: to get out of a bad funk, try something citrusy to energize and refresh glum spirits . Down in the dumps? Floral scents tend to promote happiness, while lavender brings on a more relaxing vibe . Or try sniffing lemon and lime, which can help stimulate the brain .

At AP Fragrance, we have over 60+ mood changing fragrances.  Pick your mood today!
